Mandalas are symbols used in many cultures to focus the mind, for meditation and for healing. We will study the format and iconography used in Tibetan and Native American mandalas to create our own powerful images. Most often circular, they can represent continuity, being centered, concentric rings of meaning and more.
This class will use multimedia to create your own personal mandalas. Bring items or images with special meaning to include in the art making. The instructor will provide the Bristol board for the artwork.
