Want to turn your sculpture into a bronze masterpiece? Want to use your existing sculpture and make reproductions for sale or gifting? Want to turn an everyday object into a sculpture?
Then you need to learn how to make a silicon mold. This is a hands on workshop. By the end of class you will have a durable, silicon mold of your sculpture or object. If bronzing your piece, then you will have a durable silicon mold suitable for the lost-wax process. Or you will have a durable suitable mold for casting into plaster, cement, acrylic, a look-like bronze resin or numerous other finishing materials.
Supplies: Participants should discuss with the instructor 1 week before class what material they wish to use to determine materials cost which vary and to ensure material is available for class.
