Hands On! Let yourself go, throw paint on your canvas, let it drip! Or maybe, you want a more thoughtful piece that gives just a hint of its subject matter? Maybe you want to add objects for an interesting collage. Maybe you just like Color!
Learn also how to prepare a canvas, how to store your paints, how to mix colors. Learn which colors compliment, which additives give your paint texture or make it last longer. Learn about which brush to use and special effects of applying paint without a brush. Learn composition so your painting creates interest.
Participants should bring photos, drawings or ideas of a design they wish to create. Don’t have an idea? Materials will be available to stimulate!
