Harsh Desert at Starbucks
A One-Night Event Benefiting Soldiers Organized Services
Featuring the photography of Jayel Aheram
Friday, March 5th 2010, 5-9 pm
At Starbucks Coffee, Sunrise & Ramon
IncredibleArtist.com, Starbucks Coffee, and Jayel Aheram are hosting a one-night event to benefit a worthy local charity, Soldiers Organized Services (SOS).
Soldiers Organized Services (http://sosride.org/) provides free rides to service men and women from Palm Springs Airport to Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base. The dedicated volunteers of SOS ensure that no serviceman is left stranded at the airport. A registered charity, SOS is entirely dependent on donations and fundraisers to pay for fuel, insurance, vehicle maintenance, and everything else to run this invaluable and selfless service.
At the event 20% of the sale of all artwork will be donated to SOS. In addition, Jayel Aheram will be selling hand-made parachute-cord bracelets, 100% of the proceeds going to SOS. You can also make donations directly to SOS.
The event is open to the public.
