K. Stenlund is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and is now proud to call Palm Springs, California, her home.
Her interest in photography began at an early age by being in front of the camera. Watching the pros in action inspired her to seek formal training as a photography major at Columbia College Chicago, the largest private fine arts and media college in the country.
There she had the good fortune to learn directly from award winning, world renown photographers while also working in the field. Her experience ranges from photojournalism to a wide array of studio work.
K. Stenlund specializes in applying her studio sensibility to the real world. She expertly captures and celebrates the extraordinary design of ordinary life.
