Adam & Taya Gray
Adam and Taya Gray began their partnership as graphic designer and photographer in 2005.
Adam was first published at age 8 and has been pursuing artistic outlets ever since. He has over 15 years of professional experience in graphic design and illustration, overlapped by more than a decade of airbrush, sculpture and photography. His design projects range from full magazine layouts to corporate design to large-format. For sculpture work, brass, aluminum and copper wire are most often the medium of choice. On a solo backpacking trip through greater Europe, his photography skills evolved beyond Polaroid: his fully-manual 1970-era Minolta SLR is one of his most reliable artistic tools, next to the X-acto knife and tenor saxophone.
Taya holds a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from San Francisco State University. She has eleven years experience behind the camera. She has covered a wide spectrum of events, including professional sports, spot news, wild fires, portraits, features, and even the late President Gerald R. Ford’s state funeral departure ceremony from Palm Springs International Airport. She greatly enjoys capturing candid moments of life. Taya is now a freelance photographer after resigning from The Desert Sun newspaper in 2008 to raise (and photograph) their daughter, ZoĆ©.
Both native to the Pacific Northwest, They enjoy raising their family, snowboarding, camping and playing in the rain.
